Dee – Founder & Dog Advocate 

Dee is the heart behind Fugitivez. A lifelong dog lover and tech enthusiast,  Dee founded the app after a personal experience that changed everything. Let me  tell you more about Dre the escape artist aka nugget, helicopter butt, monkey. 

It all started when Dees dog, Dre went missing. The fear, the frantic searching, the hours spent posting flyers and scrolling social media—it was a nightmare no pet owner should go through. Thankfully, Dre was found safe. But the experience revealed a painful truth: there was no streamlined, reliable way to get help fast when a dog goes missing.

That’s when the idea for FUGITIVEZ was born.

With a background in  dog grooming, Senior and Executive roles in corporate overseeing technology and implementing various systems in organisations, dog photography , and an interest in technology Dee decided to build something better. Not just an app, but a community-powered platform that could help reunite lost dogs with their families—faster, smarter, and with heart.

Since launching, Dee has led Fugitivez with one goal: make sure no one has to face the fear of a lost dog alone.

When not working on the app, Dee can usually be found hiking with Dre and Junior, volunteering at local shelters, or obsessing over new ways to use technology for good.
