Terms and Conditions – Fugitivez Mobile App

Welcome to Fugitivez! These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Fugitivez Mobile App (“the App”). By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Fugitivez Mobile App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

When you use the Fugitivez Service, you agree:

  • To use the Fugitivez Service lawfully and only for its intended purpose: reporting, tracking, or responding to lost, sighted, or rescued dogs.

  • Not to submit false or misleading reports, images, or personal information.

  • Not to impersonate any person or submit reports on behalf of someone else without authorisation.

  • Not to use the app to harass, defame, threaten, or abuse other users or individuals.

  • Not to upload content that violates intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or is offensive or inappropriate.

  • Not to use the app for any fraudulent purpose or to interfere with the operation of the service.

  • Not to exploit the platform for advertising, spamming, or promotional activities without our prior written consent.

  • Not to create duplicate accounts or use multiple accounts to manipulate visibility or features.

  • Not to share login credentials with others or allow unauthorised use of your account.

  • To keep your dog-related data and sightings accurate and up to date.
     

2. Description of Service

Fugitivez is a community-driven mobile platform designed to assist dog owners and rescuers in reporting and recovering lost, found, or sighted dogs. Users can:

  • Report lost or stolen dogs

  • Submit sightings or found dog reports

  • View real-time community updates

  • Communicate securely through in-app chat

  • Receive alerts based on location

  • Subscribe to enhanced features (e.g., dog profile management, vaccination notification, etc.)

Fugitivez does not directly provide rescue services, animal control, or pet retrieval. We act solely as a neutral facilitator connecting the public to share information and assist in dog recovery efforts.

 

3. User Eligibility

To use the Fugitivez Mobile App, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Be legally capable of entering into binding agreements

  • Provide truthful and accurate information

  • Use the app in accordance with all applicable laws and these Terms

Each individual is allowed to register only one account, unless explicitly approved by Fugitivez for special use cases (e.g., shelters or authorities).
 

4. Account and Registration

Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts. Fugitivez is not liable for any unauthorised use of your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised activity.
 

5. Community Standards

Fugitivez relies on the integrity and goodwill of its community. Users must:

  • Treat other users with respect

  • Use in-app chat responsibly

  • Avoid any offensive, inflammatory, or false statements

  • Immediately report any abuse, misinformation, or misuse
     

6. Content Ownership and Use

You retain ownership of the content you upload (e.g., images, descriptions), but grant Fugitivez a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content within the app and for promotional purposes.

We may remove any content at our sole discretion if it is found to violate these Terms or legal requirements.
 

7. Platform Limitations

Fugitivez is not responsible for:

  • The conduct of users

  • The accuracy of pet listings or reports

  • The outcome of pet recovery efforts

  • Missed connections or communication breakdowns

The platform is a tool not a service provider or law enforcement substitute.
 

8. Payments & Subscriptions

Fugitivez offers free access to core features and may offer premium services through in-app purchases or subscriptions. All payments are handled by secure third-party platforms. Fugitivez does not store or process any payment data directly.
 

9. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that:

  • Violates these Terms

  • Engages in abusive or fraudulent behaviour

  • Uses the app in any unauthorised or harmful way

Fugitivez also reserves the right to suspend access during system upgrades or legal investigations.
 

10. Background Checks and Identity Verification

Fugitivez may perform identity verification or rely on third-party checks, but is not obligated to do so. We are not liable for inaccuracies in third-party data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts based on such checks or for any violation of these terms.
 

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Fugitivez disclaims all warranties, express or implied

  • We do not guarantee the recovery of any dog

  • We are not liable for user conduct or app outages

Use the app at your own risk. Always exercise caution, especially when interacting with strangers or meeting in person.
 

12. Updates and Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. You will be notified of material changes through in-app alerts or email.
